COBRA Continuation coverage
Continuation coverage for the Medicare Primary Option
The Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1985 (COBRA) continuation coverage for retirees and eligible family members is offered only at the time of retirement. MPO participants who lose coverage are not eligible for COBRA continuation coverage.
If an eligible family member is participating a retiree medical plan option (pre 65 options) of the EMRMP, please refer to the SPD of the applicable retiree medical plan option to determine whether COBRA may be available to you.
Keep your plan informed of address changes
In order to protect your family's rights, you should keep the ExxonMobil Benefits Service Center informed of any changes in your address as well as the addresses of family members. You should also keep a copy, for your records, of any notices you send to the ExxonMobil Benefits Service Center.
